📣The Odlum Brown Fort Langley Jazz & Arts will kick off with a bang this summer – with a free community concert and gala event on the opening day of the festival, Thursday, July 21st. 🥳It’s going to be sensational and exhilarating.

1️⃣ FREE Big Band Swing Community Concert with the Rugcutter Dance Orchestra, a 15-piece ensemble specializing in original arrangements in the style of the great dance orchestras of the twenties, thirties, and forties. 2️⃣ Great Gatsby Gala event featuring the Rugcutter Dance Orchestra and Grand Slam Jazz Band.

The opening day festivities ramp up in the evening with a night of glamour and glitz at the Great Gatsby Gala. It begins with a grand and glamorous outdoor reception on the lawn of the historic Fort Langley Community Hall with tasty catering, bubbles, and swingin’ jazz music. 🎻

Then, just when you thought it couldn’t get better – we will head inside to the speakeasy where the show begins! Enjoy local snacks and desserts, get your giggle juice, relax and enjoy the show in one of our vintage + luxurious lounges or take to the dance floor to the music of the 15-piece Rugcutter Dance Orchestra.
